What To Expect on SONOIZ in Future Updates

Hey everyone!

Update 1.1 went well and the first people utilize the sites new features and functions that came with it, such as the bulk edit function for meta data and the new Payouts system that gives creators the possibility to decide for how much money they are willing to provide their samples.

Here’s a quick overview of what we are currently working on for future updates.

Analytics Dashboard

Currently creators are able to access their earnings via the withdraw section of the credits page, the problem is, it just shows the earned amount and doesn’t give insight on how much plays, likes, downloads, comments and earnings the individual samples had, we’ll change this with a new dashboard in the next update.

Preset Banks / Synth Patches

The next update also includes the possibility to sell preset banks and synth patches. We’ll create new categories for every synthesizer that is popular at the moment, these will look like the current chart pages.

Creators are able to upload their preset banks in zip format and decide by themselves for how much credits / money they are willing to provide the bank, everything from 100 – 1.000 credits is possible.

Pro Pages?

I’m well aware of the fact that our two biggest competitors are million dollar businesses and in terms of budget we cannot compete with these brands. These two companies dictate the market currently and messed it up for traditional e-commerce sites.

However, I’m a strong believer that the future of the music production and sound design market is not to have two big companies take 50 – 70% commission form every sale or download made in our niche.

I want to give creators 100% freedom in terms of earnings with something i call the Pro Page. It’s an easy to manage personal website for sound designers that works exactly like our marketplace but it’s fully customizable and instead of having to split the earnings with us, creators are able to keep 100% of their sales.

This will be available in exchange for a small monthly fee to cover development costs and hosting.

How the pro pages will look like and work is not set in stone yet, but it’s coming sooner than you think.

Keep an eye out for these changes at
